When you connect your YouTube account to ViewPulse via Google OAuth, we request access to your YouTube analytics and video performance data (specifically viewer retention, watch time, and drop-off metrics).
We use data retrieved through YouTube API Services solely to provide retention reports, visual drop-off details, and optimization suggestions. Video details and transcripts may be processed by Google Gemini to prepare the report.
We record limited first-party product events such as page views, completed analyses, and checkout starts to understand product usage and improve ViewPulse. Anonymous visits are associated with a random browser-session identifier that expires when the browser session ends. We may record country, region, city, general device category, and browser family supplied or derived at request time. We do not store raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, or device fingerprints for this analytics system. If you are signed in, an event may be associated with your ViewPulse account identifier. We also honor browser Do Not Track signals for client-side analytics collection.
ViewPulse uses YouTube API data only to provide the requested analysis and related product features. We retain account connection details and saved analysis results while they are needed to provide your account history and subscription service. We do not sell, rent, or trade YouTube data with third parties.
We use TLS to protect data in transit. OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage and are used only to retrieve the YouTube data required for the features you request. You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time, and we do not sell or share authorized data with third parties except the service providers needed to deliver the product, such as Google API services.

You can revoke ViewPulse's access to your data at any time via the Google Security Settings page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting within our app removes the stored connection and attempts to revoke Google access. If Google cannot be reached, use the Google Security Settings page to complete revocation.
